Taiwan Film Festival Berlin:
Das Taiwan Film Festival Berlin (TFFB) ist eines der größten Festivals in Europa und bietet eine wichtige Plattform für Taiwans vielfältige Filmszene. Das 2017 gegründete TFFB konzentriert sich weiterhin auf exzellente Spiel- und Dokumentarfilme und bietet jedes Jahr mit vielfältigen Programmen einzigartige Perspektiven auf die taiwanesische und asiatische Kunst.
Eindruck Taiwan: Wer sind wir?
Impression Taiwan ist eine NGO, die sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, Filme und Kulturen Taiwans über die jährliche TFFB sowie verschiedene künstlerische Aktivitäten, kulturelle Aktivitäten und individuelle Filmvorführungen zu fördern. Unser Team und unsere Freiwilligen kommen aus unterschiedlichen kulturellen Hintergründen mit verschiedenen Berufen. Gemeinsam sind wir entschlossen, dieses Festival in Berlin zu etablieren und eine Brücke zwischen taiwanesischen Filmen und deutschem Publikum zu schlagen. Wir hoffen, die Vielfalt und Ästhetik Taiwans zu fördern und die einzigartige Atmosphäre taiwanesischer Filme in die Weltstadt Berlin zu bringen.

Objectives
The 4th Berlin Taiwan Film Festival is coming in August 2021. This year, we decided to have an open call and collaborate with talented artists who have confidence in delivering our crucial concept, "Who is Taiwanese? What makes them Taiwanese?". Through this Open Call, we would like to promote the visibility of emerging artists and to inspire new sparks and ideas by the collaboration.
Who can apply?
It is open to artists worldwide (Germany-based is a plus), regardless of age, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or ethical background. Artists can apply as individuals or groups.
Design & Timetable
Design:
The key visual can be drawn, painted, illustrated, or graphically designed. It must function on different media, i.e., from a poster to an advertisement to the cover of our festival concept: "Who is Taiwanese? What makes them Taiwanese?" with the keywords:
#multicultural #diversity, #powerofunity, #compassion, #powerofnature, #adventure, #cooperation.

Timetable:
The open call starts from 05.04.2021 to 05.05.2021 (at 23.59hrs (CET))
Honorary fee
One-time EUR 850 (net) for the finished development and final artwork including all rights of use (if the name is mentioned) for the author of the finally selected idea.
Decision
The Advisory Board will make its decision based on those drafts on 12th May 2021.
The winner will be commissioned after the decision of the Advisory Board.
